I am a Denver girl born and raised! All my life photos have been something so sacred to me! I have a passion for capturing and telling your story. Growing up I was always fascinated with cameras, scrapbooking and documenting important moments. Once I had kids I started to realize just how fleeting and special each moment was. I said for a long time if I could be anything I would be a photographer, but I over thought it and talked myself out of it for far too long. In 2019 I finally said... "why not me!" and dove in headfirst to educating myself and working to learn all things photography. This creative journey has been one of the best things I have ever done for myself and for my family. With the support of my husband I launched this business and haven't looked back. I fall more and more in love with photography each time I pick up my camera. Looking back on photos of my kids and family makes my heart sooooo happy... thus the name Happy Hearts Photography.
Here are 10 fun facts about me:
1- I love snail mail... I know I am old school but if you ever send a holiday card or anything with my photos on it, it truly makes me so happy to receive one!
2- Music is a form of therapy to me.
3- I am the first person in my family to have twins naturally.
4- I'm a true crime lover and have watched wayyyyy too many documentaries about it.
5- I was a fashion major which allowed me to study abroad in Paris and intern at Womens Wear Daily in New York City. Both experiences helped fuel my love of photography!
6- My favorite place I have ever traveled is Santorini, Greece. There is nothing more beautiful than a Santorini sunset.
7- My husband and I actually met as children on a family trip and didn't see each other for another 23 years.... we met again at his brother's wedding and the rest is history.
8- I am slightly obsessed with Brene´ Brown.
9- Surprises make me nervous! What can I say I like to be in control!
10- Driving down the highway in the middle of summer with the windows down, stereo blasting, singing at the top of my lungs, is one of my favorite ways to forget about life's worries!
